About museum

The Excursion and Exhibition Center "People's House" opened in 2007 in a restored building constructed in 1957 on the site of the first kolkhoz youth theater on the Don. Here residents of the Don region and surrounding areas can experience genuine art. The center offers a wide range of events: exhibitions from museum collections, literary evenings, concerts, presentations, film screenings, video lectures, academic conferences, seminars, round tables, master classes, museum lessons, and competitions. The hall and the visitor center are equipped with modern multimedia equipment. Each year many people visit the "People's House" to gain professional knowledge and enjoy outstanding events.
