Minusinsk City Art Gallery
About museum
On October 17, 1990, the Minusinsk City Art Gallery was founded; the initiator and first director was Vasily Yakovlevich Krupskiy (1921–1998). The gallery's collection presents visual art from the last third of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century by 80 artists from Minusinsk, the Republic of Khakassia, Krasnoyarsk, Tuva, Tomsk, Novosibirsk, and Dagestan. On August 1, 2017, the gallery was merged into the Minusinsk Regional Museum of Local Lore named after N. M. Martyanov and became one of its departments. The museum's holdings included 504 works by artists collected over 27 years of operation: 327 paintings, 170 graphic works, and 7 sculptures.
