F. V. Sychkov House-Museum
About museum
The memorial house-museum of F. V. Sychkov was opened on March 11, 1970. It is located in a picturesque spot on the Moksha River. The layout and decorations have been restored based on the recollections of the artist's widow, photographs and letters. The exhibition includes items belonging to Lidia Vasilievna and Fedot Vasilievich Sychkov, examples of decorative and applied arts, paintings by the artist, and photographic documents reflecting his life and creative path. Every 2–3 years the exhibition is updated with new works by the artist from the Mordovian Republican Museum of Fine Arts named after S. D. Erzia, which is a branch of the House-Museum.
