Currently the museum features 6 exhibition halls, a collection storage (depository), a room for master classes, and an exhibition hall. The collection comprises 10,765 items, representing objects of primary and scientific-supporting nature. In 2021, 25 exhibitions and 348 guided tours were held, and new formats were launched, in particular quizzes and virtual exhibitions. The museum was visited by 17,200 people on-site, and off-site exhibitions were attended by 22,000 people. The exhibition hall hosts displays of fine and decorative-applied arts by local artists, as well as solo exhibitions by artists from Moscow and the Moscow Region. In 2021, international cooperation with Italy was launched. All necessary amenities have been provided for visitors of all categories: an accessible environment for people with limited mobility, free Wi-Fi, audio guide services in the "Aeronautics and Airship Construction" hall, a QR code in the "1932–1937. Moscow–Volga Canal" hall, and a shop selling souvenirs and paintings.
