\r\nThe memorial complex of the submarine D-2 'Narodovolets' is an excellent monument to the history of domestic shipbuilding of the 1920s–1930s and the heroic actions of submariners during the Great Patriotic War. All compartments of the submarine and its exterior appearance are recreated as they were at that time. A 100-mm gun is located on the superstructure deck. The boat is mounted on concrete keel blocks and connected to the building of the shore pavilion. The museum exhibits unique documents, equipment, instruments, mechanisms and models of Russian submarines. Here you can see items that belonged to former submariners, as well as the commemorative plaque with the names of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. The opening of the memorial complex took place on September 2, 1994, and it represents a true remembrance of the heroic actions of submariners during the Great Patriotic War.
