About museum
Belogorsk Local History Museum was founded in 1953 on the basis of School No. 3 of the town Kuybyshevka-Vostochnaya, and it was opened on October 17, 1961. The museum features permanent exhibitions including the "Peasant Izba", an exhibition of the region's flora and fauna, "The Amazing World of Stone" and exhibits on the theme "Years of Great Upheavals". The museum serves not only as a center of the city's cultural life but also allows visitors to become acquainted with the history of Belogorsk and Prityomye. In the museum one can feel the atmosphere of the past and learn many interesting things about life in the territory of Belogorsk.
