Kaduy District Local History Museum named after A.G. Yukov
About museum
Located in a historic two-story wooden merchant building from the early 20th century, this district local history museum was founded in the 1970s by A.G. Yukov and opened to visitors in September 2000. The museum's total area is 300.8 sq. m, of which 199.3 sq. m is exhibition and display space, and 22.8 sq. m is allocated for collection storage. The exhibition follows a thematic-chronological principle and is presented by unique exhibits in the sections "Archaeology", "Orthodoxy and Society", "War Years", "Contemporary Kaduy", "Circle of Life", as well as the complexes "Birth", "Kut", "Weaving" and "Forge". Each section is arranged using an individual color scheme.
