Create your own talisman at the 'Souvenirs of Yakutia' workshop
At the State Museum of Sport a series of 'Souvenirs of Yakutia' workshops will take place. Anyone may participate.
'Souvenirs of Yakutia' is a unique opportunity for adults and children to learn to create beautiful ethnic souvenirs and to immerse themselves in the traditional culture of one of the most mysterious regions.
Participants will be able to try unusual painting techniques, study the basics of folk patterns, experiment with different materials and techniques, and discover their own creative nature.
One of the key elements of the program will be Yakut talismans, which not only serve as decoration but also play an important role in protecting against evil spirits.
In the classes you will make Yakut patterned jewelry using beads, leather, and even horsehair!
