Exhibition halls of the Orenburg Governor's Museum
About museum
In 2014 the Orenburg Governor's Museum was granted an exhibition hall in the region's largest shopping center, "Armada", on a charitable basis. Over six years of cooperation the museum successfully expanded the space to six exhibition halls, turning it into an experimental venue. During that time more than 30 diverse exhibitions were held here, including themed, historical, artistic and other exhibitions. The exhibition halls made it possible to display large exhibits for the first time — for example, authentic cannons from the 18th–19th centuries. Currently one of the halls houses the archaeological reconstruction exhibition "Steppe Tale", which has its own laboratory for visually impaired visitors. The museum offers a wide range of activities: guided tours, workshops, play areas and photo zones, as well as lectures and seminars.
