\r\nThe building at 47 Gazetny Street is the old mansion of Rostov merchant Fyodor Nikolaevich Solodov, built at the end of the 19th century. In Soviet times it housed the "House of Education Workers", and now it is a department of the Rostov Regional Museum of Local Lore. It houses museum collections, hosts a series of musical evenings, and also has open storage of items related to musical culture.
