Exhibition Halls of the Ethnographic Museum "Torum Maa"
About museum
Exhibition activities enable the museum to take an active part in contemporary life. New projects make it possible to expand exhibition capabilities and attract new visitors. The main objectives of creating exhibition projects are to research and present museum objects and collections, as well as to promote the cultural heritage of the indigenous small-numbered peoples of the North of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug — Yugra. The museum regularly develops various exhibitions based on the display of authentic ethnographic artifacts and the museum’s collections, as well as private collections and the holdings of other museums. The artistic form of presentation corresponds to the concept of exhibition design. During various seminars, conferences, meetings, talks, classes, and master classes, the museum presents temporary exhibitions that help attract attention and host well-known people willing to share their experience and knowledge.
