Visitor Center of the Borodino Field Museum-Reserve
About museum
The building of the Borodino Field Museum-Reserve visitor center was built in the late 1970s. It houses the museum ticket office and a gift shop, as well as the guided-tours and methodological, mass-events, and marketing departments. In 2015 an exhibition hall was opened where temporary exhibitions from the collections of the Borodino Field Museum-Reserve are held. Here you can purchase a ticket to the main exhibition and book a tour of the Borodino Field with visits to several displays. At the end section of the visitor center there is a museum café where you can grab a snack, enjoy a hearty lunch, or order catering for tour groups. Opposite the main façade of the visitor center there is a parking area for vehicles and a free restroom accessible to everyone, including wheelchair users. The visitor center offers a wide range of services for visitors and is an ideal place to relax and explore the historical and cultural attractions of the Borodino Field Museum-Reserve.
