About museum
The Tula Military-Historical Museum is located in the building of the museum and exhibition complex of the Tula Kremlin. The exhibition, covering 300 sq. m, is devoted to the military history of the Tula region from the 14th century to the present day. Tula residents have always defended the southern approaches to Moscow, and the museum presents all the important events: the Battle of Kulikovo, the Great Abatis Line, the 1812 militia, the First and the Great Patriotic Wars. The core of the exhibition consists of artifacts and documents, reconstructed uniforms and equipment of the defenders of the Motherland, as well as interactive installations, multimedia encyclopedias and screenings of documentary film excerpts. The Tula front line ran not only across the region but also through the hearts of Tula people, who have always been ready to defend the Motherland. The exhibition allows visitors to discover new pages of history for themselves!
