'Sholokhov Center' is one of the sites of the M. A. Sholokhov State Museum-Reserve, located in the historic center of Rostov-on-Don. It hosts large-scale exhibitions and cultural and educational projects of the Southern Federal District. The exhibition halls feature materials that introduced the world to the life and work of M. A. Sholokhov, as well as exhibitions dedicated to other great Russian writers. In addition, the multimedia hall hosts creative meetings, literary evenings, lectures, museum lessons and workshops. The 'Sholokhov Center' building is a splendid monument of the late 19th century, designed by architect N. M. Sokolov in 1893 and of historical and architectural value. This building is a prominent landmark of the city.
