It is located 42 km from the city of Megion and is a reconstruction of a Khanty settlement of the Kazamkin family. The museum collects, studies, preserves and uses natural, cultural and historical monuments of the region's peoples. Here you can visit permanent exhibitions that tell about the culture and everyday life of the indigenous peoples of Western Siberia and the traditional way of life in a Russian izba. There are also exhibitions on various subjects, as well as cultural events and celebrations. At the museum visitors can learn more about the region, get acquainted with the city's history, and attend lessons in courage and patriotic education.
