The Ternovsky People's Historical and Local History Museum named after V. V. Mayakovsky is part of the Ternovsky village cultural center and is known not only in the Kuban region but also beyond its borders. The museum presents two main themes: local history and historical-patriotic, which encompass the history of the Ternovskaya and Tikhoretsk districts, the Cossacks, their culture, traditions, everyday life, events and wars. The museum has gathered abundant material from documents, books and extremely rare exhibits, including the named banners of the Ternov Cossacks. In total, the museum's exhibition includes 28 sections with 5,215 exhibits. The venue also hosts lessons in courage, guided tours, meetings and excursions into history. At the museum you can learn many interesting things and see excellent exhibits that cannot be found in other museums of Krasnodar Krai.
