Polytechnic Museum "The Amazing World of Mechanisms and Machines"
About museum
In the Polytechnic Museum "The Amazing World of Mechanisms and Machines", opened in 2013, you can see many interesting exhibits. Among them are the simplest mechanisms used in peasant households, including those from the Vyatka village, such as a wool-combing machine, straw cutters, and weaving looms. The museum also displays remarkable human inventions: the telephone, arithmometers and calculators, typewriters, unique clock mechanisms, magic lanterns, slide projectors, the first Soviet radio receivers, televisions and tape recorders. In a separate room the first Soviet household appliances are exhibited and can be seen and touched. All exhibits in the museum are working, so a visit can leave an unforgettable impression.
