Dolgoprudny Park of Culture and Recreation

\r\nIn September 2007, in honor of the 50th anniversary of the city of Dolgoprudny, after many years of reconstruction the park was opened to visitors. On its basis a municipal institution, the 'Park of Culture and Recreation', was established, which attracts a large number of townspeople. At present the park is the only significant recreational area within the city limits, providing green spaces, infrastructure and opportunities for entertainment. This is especially important given the worsening environmental situation and the negative consequences of urban life for preserving people's physical and psychological health. The park offers free and paid services. Its grounds include two leisure areas (the central and the small stages), a children's playground and the 'Carousel' amusement area.
