Concerts, discussions, presentations, and professional events are held here. The center has become the preferred venue for events of Ivanovo cultural institutions.
The Museum and Exhibition Center is part of the Ivanovo State Historical and Local History Museum named after D. G. Burylin. It was built to an individual design by architects A. I. Tolstopyatov and V. M. Shakhmatov in 1980 in commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the first all-city Council of Workers' Deputies in Russia. Currently the Museum and Exhibition Center is a modern exhibition space equipped with everything necessary to display exhibitions on a variety of themes. There is a conference hall with 138 seats equipped with modern cinema and sound equipment. After renovation, the Museum and Exhibition Center became a venue for exhibition projects, festivals, concerts, discussions, presentations, and other events, and the preferred location for events of Ivanovo cultural institutions.
