About museum

The Nizhneudinsk City Museum and Cultural Center conducts research into the history of the city and its district, the ethnography of the Tofa, a small indigenous people, and the preservation of traditional crafts. The center houses exhibitions and also operates the folk club 'Tvorchestvo' ('Creativity'), where masters of folk art run workshops. The center is also home to creative groups of artists, artisans, photographers, and collectors. Temporary exhibitions and public events are regularly held in the center's halls.
