V. D. Polenov Museum-Reserve. Town of Craftsmen

About museum

At the end of 2012 one of the buildings of the V. D. Polenov Museum-Reserve was opened and named 'Town of Craftsmen'. It houses exhibition halls, workshops, art studios and a large hall where concerts, performances, balls and conferences can be held. Artists who come to paint en plein air and students from art universities work here. Visitors from Russia and other countries can attend exhibitions, watch performances, listen to concerts, meet the masters and learn from them. Various events are held in the 'Town of Craftsmen' that help people discover the art and culture of V. D. Polenov. Here they can feel the spirit of the museum-reserve and have unforgettable experiences.
