In 2010, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Bavlinsky District, a museum of the poet Fanis Yarullin was opened in his native village of Kzyl-Yar. The museum displays his personal belongings, photographs, manuscripts and letters, providing more information about his life and work. He was a laureate of the Gabdulla Tukay and Musa Jalil prizes, a recipient of the Order of Friendship of Peoples and an honorary citizen of the Bavlinsky District. Today the Fanis Yarullin Museum serves as a venue for poetic and creative events, as well as for the spiritual and moral education of the younger generation and the public.
