About museum

In 2013, a structural subdivision of the Voskresensky Center Museum was opened in the village of Veldemanovo. As part of the exhibition "The Street of Life from Birth to Funeral Rites", visitors can visit the house of the parents of the Patriarch of Moscow and all Rus' Nikon, as well as a holy spring and a baptismal font. For those who want a deeper understanding of village life, the "Evening Bell" route is offered: museum — church — chapel — parish school. Spiritual and patriotic events are held in the museum parlor. In 2017 the exhibition "The Little House by the Road", dedicated to village life in the second half of the 20th century, was opened, and in 2018 the "Red Corner", dedicated to the village of Veldemanovo during the Soviet period and its participants in the Great Patriotic War, was opened.
