Museum of the Heritage of Generations of Novosheshminsky District
About museum
Every region has a place where you can get acquainted with its history and culture, see interesting and remarkable objects, learn about local sights and everyday life, and about outstanding people. One such place is the Museum of the Heritage of Generations in the village of Akbure, founded in 2015 by patron Anvar Mahmutovich Zalakov. It features several halls dedicated to different eras of the village's history. The first hall presents the village's history from the earliest times to the present day, and in the second visitors can see the 'Tatar House' exhibition, which displays the interior of a Tatar peasant house from the 1950s. Other halls are devoted to the 'Genealogy of the Village' and the history of the school. On the museum grounds there is a conference hall where archival documents can be studied. Currently the museum's collection totals 650 storage units, of which the main collection comprises 348 items and the scientific-auxiliary collection 302.
