About museum

The Educational Medical Museum of Derzhavin University is an organized collection of specimens gathered over the past thirty years with the involvement of Yu. K. Shchukin, head of the pathological-anatomy department of City Clinical Hospital No. 2 named after Archbishop Luke. The educational museum was opened in December 2011 and includes 840 items, the oldest of which dates back to 1919. It is popular among residents of Tambov and the surrounding region, and also hosts schoolchildren, students, and visitors whose aim is to promote a healthy lifestyle and eradicate harmful habits.
