About museum

The museum of Marshal of the Soviet Union, Hero of the Soviet Union Fyodor Ivanovich Tolbukhin was founded in May 1975 in the village of Androniki, where he was born. Today the museum is located in the village of Tolbukhino, in a two‑story brick house that once belonged to Petr Shelepov. The museum has two rooms. The first displays items that belonged to Fyodor Ivanovich, photographs and documents, as well as gifts from visitors. The second room exhibits household and work items of the local people: samovars, irons, spinning wheels, embroidery, lace, works by the Davydkov blacksmiths and potters' tools. The museum offers a unique opportunity to learn about the life and military service of Marshal Fyodor Ivanovich Tolbukhin.
