M. A. Bulgakov Museum on Bolshaya Pirogovskaya Street
About museum
In December 2021, the former apartment of the writer M. A. Bulgakov at 35a Bolshaya Pirogovskaya Street was transformed into a museum space. It displays the writer's works, biography, creative output, texts and the context of his works. The exhibition is divided into three parts: the corridor, the study and the room. Recordings about Bulgakov are played in the corridor, while the study showcases items that belonged to him and his close relatives. The centerpiece of the room is the letter to the government of the USSR written by Bulgakov in 1930. In addition to the permanent exhibition, the museum also presents temporary exhibitions.
