Museum of Children's Book Illustration 'Kartinka'
About museum
In March 2017 the Museum of Children's Book Illustration 'Kartinka' was opened in the Moscow Region — the only one of its kind in the area. The museum's collection was formed thanks to a collection of graphic works by the well-known illustrator and People's Artist of Russia Viktor Aronovich Duvidov, donated to the museum in March 2016. The works of book illustrators are invaluable to culture: their images in books help children form first impressions, develop imagination, and have a positive effect on a child's emotions. Today the museum hosts a variety of events for children, including exhibitions, master classes, themed tours, and interactive programs.
