About museum

Private museum of Vilegod cuisine and dialect "DEREVEN'KA" was created to preserve the recipes of traditional Vilegod cuisine and the unique words of the Vilegod dialect.

Our house-museum welcomes guests to the gastronomic, craft and entertainment program "One Day in the Village".
We restore recipes of traditional Russian cuisine and are ready to share its secrets with you.

Dressing up in stylized clothing will help create an unforgettable immersion in the atmosphere of warmth and comfort of a village home.

During the interactive program you will learn how to stoke a Russian stove, prepare various dishes and drinks, bake pies and, of course, taste these treats.

Traditional crafts have been preserved on the Viled: you can watch a master at work or try it yourself.
Have you played biryulki recently? Old-time games and amusements will delight everyone without exception.
Hospitality takes place in a family house with a stove, a cat on the bench, a lampada in the red corner, a boiling samovar on the table for a large family; people walk in lapti (bast shoes) on homespun runners, scoop food with wooden spoons; here they are happy to share heartfelt warmth — it heals the worries of urban hustle.
We accept groups of 8 to 12 people. "One Day in the Village" can be an alternative to a corporate event, a family celebration, a friendly gathering, and a very good gift for relatives and friends. Souvenirs can be purchased on request, and a tasty treat — the "Podorozhnik" — will be given to each guest!
