The Emerald House in Tomsk
About museum
A branch of the Tomsk History Museum is located in one of Tomsk's most beautiful cultural heritage sites — the mansion of architect Khomich, which locals call the "Emerald House".
\r\n
\r\nSeparate halls are dedicated to the exhibitions "Tomsk Motifs" and "The Tomsk Resident's Path", which tell the city's history through images created by masters of decorative and applied arts and artificial intelligence.
\r\n
\r\nIn the near future, a special space called "Virtual World of Tomsk Stories" will open for fans of new technologies, where, using VR technologies, visitors can take historical walks through recreated museum exhibits.
\r\n
\r\nA bright and cozy lecture hall is ready to welcome children and adults for themed workshops, and a large souvenir shop will operate in the foyer.
\r\n
\r\nThe Tomsk History Museum will become an experimental platform where familiar city stories and those yet to be told to Tomsk residents and visitors will be heard anew.
