Museum of Buddhist History "Golden Abode of Buddha Shakyamuni"
About museum
On the temple grounds, surrounded by an openwork fence topped with 108 small stupas, the symbol of the 108 Buddhas is evident. The gates are situated on the four cardinal points and symbolize the four elements: Earth, Fire, Water and Wind. On either side of the gates stands an ancient wish-fulfilling stone that bestows wealth — the "chintamani." The gates' style reflects traditional Eastern design, inviting all to the path of spirituality and enlightenment. A paved pathway begins at the gates, leading to the temple or circling it. This place imparts deep spiritual illumination and offers the opportunity to gain wealth and have wishes fulfilled.
