The S.N. Balandin Museum of the History of Siberian Architecture has been a branch of the Novosibirsk State Architectural and Art Academy since 2000. Its holdings include unique archives of projects, documents, photographs and literature collected by S.N. Balandin. The museum's collection comprises original historical photographs, graphic and pictorial works, memorial items, sculpture, ceramics and archaeological finds, interior objects from the 19th and 20th centuries, fragments of wooden architecture, original architectural projects, coursework and diploma works of architecture students dating from 1924, handwritten teaching materials of architecture instructors from the 1930s–1950s, the creative legacy of several generations of Siberian architects, scientific articles and research in manuscript, a scientific-methodical book collection, rare periodicals, a newspaper chronicle and a temporary exhibitions fund.
