Snezhinsk Park of Culture and Recreation
About museum
The park's official founding date is considered to be June 1961. It is located in the city on the shore of Lake Sinara, in an environmentally clean area with a natural forested section of about 18 hectares. The park includes: the "Ritm" dance hall, a rental base for winter and summer recreation, an amusement park, a boat station, the city beach, the "Komsomolets" stadium, and a beach volleyball court. Festivals, concerts, and children's entertainment programs are held in the dance hall. Children attend creative groups — pop-vocal, dance, and a children's opera theater — and perform fire-and-light shows. The recreation base offers skateboards, ice skates, and other equipment. Creative groups and residents can use the stage costume rental services. The park regularly hosts large public celebrations and festivities, and major events take place at the "Komsomolets" stadium. In winter the park turns into a large ice rink.
