\r\nIn 1928 a museum-memorial was built in memory of the Civil War and the storming of the Volochaevka fortifications, which marked the beginning of the liberation of the Far East from intervention. The museum and memorial are located on Iyun-Koran Hill. The building is a two-story symmetrical fortress decorated with a sculptural composition. Inside are exhibits documenting the Battle of Volochaevka. Monuments to the soldiers who fell in this battle have been erected at the memorial. The museum-memorial emphasizes the importance of this battle in Russian history.
