Museum of Geology of Central Siberia is an institution of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of Krasnoyarsk Krai, established in 1960. Today its collection comprises more than 9,000 exhibits from various countries worldwide, and it also has a library of specialized literature. As part of its educational, cultural, and recreational projects, the museum hosts installations, quests, and master classes that promote interest in geology. The museum engages in interregional and international cooperation and carries out outreach and educational work. The museum operates a Young Geologist School, and, due to adult interest, has launched a Geos-class. From May to October the museum enrolls groups for geological field research trips.
