About museum
The A. S. Pushkin Museum in Gurzuf is one of the branches of the Crimean literary and artistic memorial museum-reserve. It is located on the southern coast of Crimea in the settlement of Gurzuf, in the house that belonged to the Governor-General of Novorossiya and Bessarabia, Duke Armand-Emmanuel du Plessis de Richelieu. A.-E. Richelieu built his house in 1811. Until the 1830s the house was the only European building on the entire southern coast. In 1820 A. S. Pushkin lived in this house.
