Museum of Military Glory of the Irkutsk Military Aviation Engineering Institute

About museum

In the 20th century, in the city of Irkutsk, there arose a need to establish a military school to provide information about modern aircraft, their design, equipment, materials used, and examples. The history and traditions of the Irkutsk Military Aviation Engineering Institute (IVAII), as well as the feats of its graduates, were also used for the military-patriotic education of schoolchildren. On display were military uniforms and materials introducing military ranks.
