On the western side of Alushta, in the Professors' Corner, on Orlina Hill, at an altitude of 100 meters above sea level, is the museum of the outstanding writer, academician and Doctor of Philological Sciences Sergey Nikolaevich Sergeev-Tsensky. In 1962, a literary and memorial museum was established in the house where he lived for more than half a century, which comprises two sections: literary and memorial. In the literary section you can learn about the life and work of S. N. Sergeev-Tsensky, while the memorial section consists of the house with its furnishings, a unique library and archive left by the writer. In addition, visitors can see photographs, awards, valuable applied art exhibits and paintings by well-known artists. An integral part of S. N. Sergeev-Tsensky's estate is a memorial park with pyramidal cypresses, an almond grove and fruit trees, as well as a monument at the writer's grave.
