In 2015, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Victory over the fascist invaders, a branch of the G.R. Derzhavin Museum of the Laishevsky Region was opened. Its exhibition features documents, relics and items of military significance, including memorial artifacts from the personal archives of participants in the Great Patriotic War, weapons, military uniforms, household items, letters, newspapers, books and leaflets, honorary certificates, etc. The museum holds events for schoolchildren, as well as meetings with elderly people who pass the history of the Great Patriotic War from generation to generation. A correspondents' desk has also been opened here, providing information about the fate of people who went missing or died during the Great Patriotic War. Data on front-line soldiers, home-front workers and children of war from the Laishevsky district are entered on the website of the Virtual Museum of the Great Patriotic War of the Republic of Tatarstan.
