Fatikh Karimi Memorial Museum
About museum
Fatikh Karimi, an educator and enlightener, scholar, publisher, translator and journalist, was born on March 30, 1870 in the village of Minnibayevo, Bugulminsky Uyezd (today Almetyevsk Municipal District). The memorial museum, opened on September 17, 1998, reflects the life of Fatikh Karimi and his relatives. The founder of the museum was Ibragimov Mudaris Akhmetzakiyevich (1925–2007), a participant in the Great Patriotic War, educator, writer, historian, publicist and an honored cultural worker of the Republic of Tatarstan. Here one can also learn about the history of the village of Minnibayevo and its inhabitants.
