\r\nOn May 30, 1980, the Ivangorod Art Museum was opened, associated with the name of M. N. Pototsky (1916–1998), son of A. V. Shchekatikhina-Pototskaya and a student of I. Ya. Bilibin. In 1980 M. N. Pototsky donated to the people of Ivangorod a collection of paintings, graphics and decorative-applied art created by I. Ya. Bilibin and A. V. Shchekatikhina-Pototskaya, as well as works by artists of the 'World of Art' association. This gift became the foundation of the museum's collections, located in the center of Ivangorod in the former house of merchant F. Ya. Panteleev. In 2000 a multimedia program 'Virtual Fortress' was created for the museum. Today it hosts guided tours, master classes, exhibitions and concerts, and offers film screenings and presentations.
