Engineering Building of the Tretyakov Gallery

Located on Lavrushinsky Lane is the museum's Engineering Building, constructed during the most recent reconstruction. It houses the engineering and technical services that ensure the museum's operation. In addition, there is a conference hall for scientific symposia, press conferences, and film screenings. On the second and third floors of the Engineering Building are exhibitions of classical and contemporary art by Russian and foreign artists. The 'Golden Map of Russia' project, presenting the country's regional museums, is held here. The Engineering Building also includes a lecture hall for slide and video presentations, as well as the Tretyakov Gallery's children's studio and the Church-Museum of St Nicholas in Tolmachi.
