On April 9, 2013, in Yekaterinburg, the Ernst Neizvestny Art Museum, a branch of the State Autonomous Cultural Institution of the Sverdlovsk Region 'Sverdlovsk Regional Museum of Local Lore', was opened. The museum was created on the basis of original graphic works, small-form sculptures, illustrated book editions and exclusive photographs, as well as an electronic archive. The core of the collection consists of original author works, official mass-produced editions and materials from the master's personal archive, photographs and electronic resources from the Internet. The museum is equipped with modern multimedia equipment that allows virtual access to the sculptor's works located in different countries around the world. The Ernst Neizvestny Art Museum is the recipient of the Grand Prix of the city competition 'Best Museum Project of the Year — 2013'. In June 2014, the museum's exhibition was awarded the Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region's prize.
