Guryevsk City Local History Museum
About museum
The Guryevsk City Local History Museum is located in the center of Guryevsk, on the bank of the Bachat River. In 1909 a two-storey brick shop owned by merchant N. P. Ermolaev was built here. The museum's collection comprises approximately 18,200 items. From 2020 to 2022 the building underwent restoration, after which it was transformed both externally and internally, and modern multimedia equipment was installed. On the first floor there are exhibitions that allow visitors to learn about the settlement and way of life of the indigenous inhabitants of the district, and about the distinctive nature of the Salair Ridge.
