Gafuriysky Historical and Local Lore Museum

About museum

On May 6, 2005, thanks to local historians and residents of the district, the Gafuriysky Historical and Local Lore Museum was opened. It is located in the district center, the village of Krasnousolsky, in the building of the district Palace of Culture. The museum's exhibition includes three sections: natural history, regional history, and ethnography. The first section presents materials reflecting the natural history of the area; the second covers the history of the Krasnousolsky Glass Factory of the Gafuriysky District; and the third contains ethnographic museum items.
