Asino Local History Museum
About museum
On June 18, 1989, a branch of the Tomsk Regional Museum of Local Lore was opened in Asino (formerly known as Ksenyevka). It included documentary materials, photographs, books, and personal belongings of the well-known writer G. M. Markov and his family. In 1992 the collection was supplemented with materials about the famous Tomsk 370th Rifle Division, provided by veterans of the division and School No. 3. Today the museum's holdings comprise more than 13,000 items, mainly an ethnographic collection demonstrating the development of the traditional culture of the Russian population of Siberia. Among the museum's objects are tools, household items, utensils, as well as clothing from the late 19th – early 20th century.
