Gukovsky Museum of Miners' Labor named after L.I. Mikulin
About museum
\r\nThe Museum of Miners' Labor was founded on a voluntary basis and presents the history of the district and the town. In 1998 the museum was given a building with a total area of more than 2,000 square meters, which became a precondition for active acquisition of the collection on the history of the region's coal industry and items of mining and mine equipment. Today the museum includes more than 400 storage items, among which the model of a coal crystal has become a symbol. Here you can also learn about decorative and applied arts, paleontological and archaeological finds, the life of the Don Cossacks, and the theme of the Great Patriotic War.
