About museum
On November 24, 1997, the museum dedicated to the first Udmurt poetess Vekshina Akilina Grigoryevna Ashalchi Oki, who was born in 1898 and passed away in 1973, was founded. The museum offers 11 exhibitions, among which are of particular interest: "Life and Works of Ashalchi Oki", "Patriots of the Motherland", "Return of the Homeland" (about the history of vanished villages), as well as exhibitions on the Great Patriotic War, law enforcement agencies, and sports. There are also unique materials on the Civil War and the period of agricultural collectivization, as well as information on how the Grahovsky district is connected with the names of Empress Catherine II, Leo Tolstoy, D.
