K. A. Timiryazev State Biological Museum in Moscow is a natural history museum founded in 1922. It is housed in the buildings of the former Museum of Russian Antiquities of Petr Ivanovich Shchukin, built in the Neo-Russian style between 1892 and 1915. The exhibition includes everything from fungi and orchids to dinosaurs and humans. It features exclusive departments of botany and physiology that are not found in other Moscow museums. The museum displays natural landscape dioramas, interactive halls and a laboratory. It regularly hosts exhibitions by animalist artists, club exhibitions of plant and cactus enthusiasts. The museum offers more than 100 themed tours and classes covering all areas of biology and ecology for all ages. It also runs the "Family at the Museum" program and operates the online studio "BioEfir", which offers lectures and master classes on biology and ecology.
