Branch of the Severodvinsk Museum in the village of Nyonoksa
About museum
Nenoksa is an ancient Pomor village located 40 km from Severodvinsk on the summer shore of the White Sea. In 2017 the village celebrated its 620th anniversary. A branch of the Severodvinsk City Local History Museum was opened here in 1993. The museum features an exhibition titled "From an Ancient Human Campsite to a Rocket Test Range", reflecting the region's history from the Bronze Age to the present. During a visit to Nenoksa you can see the 18th-19th century church complex, the Nenoksa Saltworks and the restored salt-boiling barn. All of this makes a trip to Nenoksa very interesting and unforgettable.
